Dr. Matt Ritter is a visiting board-certified surgery specialist. Although he is not an official team member of Hambright Animal Hospital, we work closely with Dr. Ritter to provide our clients the orthopedic surgical care they need for their pets that they would otherwise seek at a specialty hospital.
Dr. Ritter did his undergraduate and veterinary degree at Iowa State University, internship at the University of Pennsylvania, and surgical residency at Michigan State University. Dr. Ritter has been board-certified since 2007 and enjoys several aspects of surgery, especially orthopedics. Outside of work Dr. Ritter and his wife stay busy trying to keep up with their 8 kids.
