Sara has always wanted to become a veterinarian. She has fond memories of playing in the woods and lake with her brother, collecting seeds and berries to make treats for their family's chickens! She is currently taking college courses at UNCC to prepare her for the next step into Vet school.
Sara is a North Carolina native. She has been a Veterinary Assistant with Hambright Animal Hospital since 2021. Sara finds surgery and dentistry exciting; her favorite part of her work is hearing from their pet parents that the pet seems like a puppy again after receiving care! Knowing that she is part of making a positive impact on her community is very rewarding for her.
Sara lives with her partner Karson and their 2 dogs, Ana and Beaux, and a cat named Cindy. For leisure, Sara enjoys making personal art for her loved ones and learning how to play the bass!
