Kim knew at a young age that she’d end up working in a field dedicated to animal welfare. She worked in the film industry before she switched gears to vet med! Today, she is proud to be Hambright Animal Hospital’s Practice Manager since 2019.
Kim got her foot in the door of the animal-care profession by taking a job with a mobile veterinarian, then moved into numerous roles in specialty and emergency medicine while continuing to volunteer in animal shelters. It wasn’t long before she transitioned into the world of general practice!
Kim moved from the west coast and settled in North Carolina in 2018. She looks forward to continuing to help support her staff, the community pets, and their pet-parents! Kim loves to work behind-the-scenes to keep everything running smoothly here at the hospital, and knowing that she’s contributing to something much bigger than herself is the ultimate reward for her.
When away from work, Kim enjoys discovering new trails, hiking, discovering new restaurants, attending concerts, volunteering, and spending time with her rescue pups!
